Interested freshmen have the opportunity to apply for the Executive Cabinet or Freshman Class Council during the first quarter of the school year.
2024-2025 Freshman SGA Application Timeline
- 8/29-->Interest Meeting in the Diane Payne Auditorium during Advisory Class (*check into Advisory first)
- Information, timelines, and guidelines will be explained
- Expectations of participation in school events/Homecoming activities that will factor into the application.
- 9/25-->Second Interest Meeting & Application Distribution in the Auditorium during Advisory Class.
- Applications will be distributed on 9/25/24.
- There will not be an online version.
- Applications will be available in room 2402 for anyone unable to attend the meeting on 9/25/24.

- 10/8 & 10/9-->Application Writing Workshop in room 2402 from 2:30-3:15 (optional)
- Available to any students who need help with the application or have questions
- 10/10-->Applications due to Ms. Pattisall-Williams in room 2402 by 2:30 PM.
- No late applications will be accepted.
- 10/22-->Applicants notified of status via their WCPSS student e-mail account
- Notifications will be sent via e-mail after 2:30 PM
- 10/23-->Freshman Class Council reports to their new Advisory Class (Matkins room 2314)
- Freshman Class President Interest Meeting in Advisory Class
- Any freshman selected to the Freshman Class Council is eligible to run for Class President.
