Broughton SGA has four Student Body Officers:

• Student Body President (senior)
• Student Body 1st Vice President (senior)
• Student Body 2nd Vice President (junior)
• Student Body Secretary/Treasurer (junior)

Student Body Officers are elected in the spring of each year for the next school year. 
Potential candidates will attend a mandatory interest meeting where they will receive information regarding timelines and campaigning guidelines.

Timeline for 2025-2026 Student Body Officer Elections:

• 2/26/25--Student Body Officer interest meeting in the Cafeteria during Advisory
• 2/28/25--Forms to Run for Office due by 2:30 PM in room 2402
• 3/3-3/21/25--Campaigning-->Campaign guidelines will be given during the interest meeting.
• 3/17/25--Candidates deliver speeches to half of the freshman class in the Auditorium during Advisory.  
• 3/18/25--Candidates deliver speeches to half of the freshman class in the Auditorium during Advisory.  
• 3/19/25--Candidates deliver speeches to the sophomore class in the Auditorium during Advisory.  
• 3/20/25--Candidates deliver speeches to the junior class in the Auditorium during Advisory.  
• 3/21/25--Voting during Advisory.
• 3/24/25--Candidates notified.
• 3/26/25--Run-off elections (as needed) during Advisory.
